The digital DSO: from market trends to grid reality

A 45-minute expert talk with Daniela Haldy-Sellmann, Richard Schytte and Daniel Neumann on the market trends, regulations and partnerships that are shaping how distribution grids are planned, connected and operated.

PV systems, heat pumps, EV charging and storage are all arriving at once on grids that were not designed for them.
Investment needs are enormous, experienced planners are scarce, and regulators keep raising the bar. The question is no longer whether DSOs digitalize their processes, but how fast, and with which partners.

What the Experts Will Discuss

  • The market trends reshaping electricity system operators across Europe and how modern software answers them (Daniela Haldy-Sellmann)
  • The Nordic playbook: cloud migration in practice and operational experiences in Norway (Richard Schytte)
  • The German regulatory push: AGNES, NEST, §14a EnWG and low-voltage grid control and what they mean for grid planning, grid connection, congestion management and time series management (Daniel Neumann)
  • Why partnerships set the pace: Volue’s long-term partnership with Esri, and the Volue–SAP partnership in the field of Distributed Energy Resources
  • Customer success stories from the Nordics and the DACH region: how DSOs are already putting this into practice
